What Can We Do Now?
Not the best week for a music newsletter, but hopefully this finds you well. I've included a new playlist, too.
And we begin, again. ❤️
It’s been a lugubrious week, so I’ve made this short and sweet. I’ve included an excellent video from a forthcoming album by Jeff Parker on International Anthem Records and a new Spotify playlist. I plan to release my top albums of 2024 sometime near the first week of December. It’s been a tremendous year for music.
As much as it’s tempting to give up right now, remember that life is about being there for your family, friends, and neighbors. Put down your phone or tablet and go for a walk. Get outside, talk to your friends, visit museums and galleries, and attend concerts. Support the arts as much as you can. They’ll need us more than ever over the next several years. As always, I appreciate all of you. Thanks for being here.

amplified playlists
Beginning this week, I’ve decided to include a new playlist. I hope you don’t mind. This one is somewhat subdued, but I find each song soothing and relaxing—it’s mainly on the jazz side. If you like the Jeff Parker song/video above, you’ll enjoy this playlist, too. It’s twenty tracks for your aural pleasure—your feedback is always welcome.
Until next week, thanks again for reading and being a part of the amplified experience.

Thanks JB!
